IMAGINE NEWS!

Imagine Updates!!!!

The total of the Imagine Commitments were announced to the congregation on Dec. 7.   We celebrated that $681,016 has been committed over the next three years by 86 giving units (individuals/families).

Praise the Lord!  What a challenge we have before us.  This was never a FUNDRAISING Effort.  This is a FAITH GROWING Opportunity!  86 families will be growing in faith through this experience.  Do we trust Him to help us?  YES!!!  He is Able!

I believe that God wants each of us to be growing our faith.  He wants to help us to trust Him with every area of our lives.

We continue to ask God to give us wisdom and direction regarding the timing and how we proceed with plans to build a LIFE Center.    We believe He continues to lead us to build, so we are asking you to be praying about that as well.  Some think we should wait.  Others think we must move forward.  Your leaders are praying for God’s leading.  His timing is always right.  We are committed to walk by faith, and not by sight.  That’s what Noah, Moses, Joshua, David, Peter, Paul, and Mary did… so we will be in good company if we too walk by faith!

------------------------------------------------------------

God continues to bless us with growth.  But, we know that we cannot just sit back & relax. People are searching for hope, for help, for something to give them purpose and meaning.  We know the answer to all their needs is Jesus.

God has blessed us with a good cross-section of ages.  We have babies, we have teens.  We have 30 Somethings and we have Boomers.  We have 70, 80, and 90 year olds, and we are able to work and worship together.

And yet, there is a great task before us that we must work together to accomplish.  Jesus commanded us to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.  Stroh, Indiana happens to be our Jerusalem.  We (young and not-so-young) need to obey Him and reach our community for Christ.

Jesus didn’t tell us to love only those in our church, but everyone in our world.  We must show our community that we love them enough to build a bridge to reach them for Christ.

IMAGINE…

…young people coming to Christ, and building their lives on godly principles.

…families coming to Christ and finding hope for life*s challenges.

…a community that honors Christ.

IMAGINE the words of our Master,

Matthew 25:21 NLT    The master was full of praise. 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!'
