2012 is well underway, how are you doing in your growth as a Christian this year? Have you started reading through the Bible? (Reading plans are on the foyer table.) Maybe you read the Bible through in 2011, great, but don’t stop now. Maybe you would like a different reading plan. Some of our congregation is reading the Bible through chronologically, that is in the order it happened. This might help you better understand the events of the Bible. Maybe reading chronologically is not right for you. Talk with me, I have other plans that might interest you and your style of reading the Bible.

 Are you deepening your faith in ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship)? Every quarter new ABF classes are offered and new topics are discussed these. Topics range from evangelism, family, marriage, raising children, finances, Bible basics, and in depth Bible study. We have Sunday School for children &youth and ABF for adults.

 Maybe this year you might join a small group that meets during the week. For a list of small groups check our web-site or contact me. Small groups not only deepen your biblical knowledge but also are a source of fellowship and accountability. Some small groups meet every week and others meet every other week. Some include meals and others just offer snacks. Small groups give you a chance to become involved in service projects with other believers. If you already attend a small group, prayerfully consider stepping out of your comfort zone and starting another small group. New small groups are always needed as new believers join our congregation and wish to be fed from the Word of God. 

As our congregation grows our need for small groups and ABF classes will also grow and with such growth the need for leaders and teachers for these groups and classes also grows. Are you ready to step up and fill that role?
